The Best Toy We Have Ever Purchased
56Toys In General
We had our first child less than two years ago. Katie is the joy of our life and quite a handful at times. In many aspects we were new to this whole "baby" thing, so we had to learn along the way. One of the things that we had to learn was how the concept of "toys" differed in the eyes of a child. While mom and dad might have spent a lot of time and money coming up with what they thought was a "great toy", your child may have a different perspective entirely. They like what they like and it is as simple as that. You could spend hundreds of dollars on some mechanical wonder and they could care less. Similarly a few plastic cups from the local Dollar Store can do wonders to hold their attention and amazement.
The Jumperoo
One of the toys that we are definitely glad that we purchased is the jumperoo. It has provided our child with countless hours of fun bouncing up and down and other fun. It has various gadgets that are assembled around the perimeter of the jumperoo to keep your child busy when they are not bouncing about. It is one toy that in our eyes is worth every dollar.
In terms of gadgets on the device there seems to be something that every child will enjoy. There are spinners and rattles and of course one of Katie's favorite toys...a tethered bug. She loves to grab for it and suck on its wings. Kind of disgusting but you should see the joy on her face as she munches away.
If you could only consider one toy for your baby it should be the jumperoo. Not only will it provide your child with hours and hours of pleasure and enjoyment, it will free up your time as well. You can go about your chores and tasks knowing that your baby is safe and secure and having a blast!
Our Blog
In closing I have been writing a post about our new child every day since the day she was born. It deals with the highs and the lows of a hapless dad who is trying to make sense of his daughter's journey through life. We would love to have you navigate over and see what Katie has been up to the past few days. Feel free to leave any comments or suggestions...we would love to hear from you.
