How To Love A Man

We live in a world of loneliness. Even though there are billions of people on the earth, many live along, and others have that feeling inside of loneliness on a continual basis. To alleviate these emotions, many women are searching for advice like:

• how to make a man fall in love
• how to make a man love you
• how to love a man
• how to love a guy
• how to make a man love you
  

Men are a different “animal”. Tell me about it, right? Many a woman has spent a sleepless night trying to figure them out, and trying to determine the best way to show that they love that special guy in their life. Are presents for men the only way to show that you care? No, this is not the case at all. In this hub we will examine the various ways in which you can show that special guy in your life that you care about him deeply…in fact, that you love him.

They say that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. For many men that is definitely true. We won't go as far as to say that food is the way to make a man fall in love with you, but every guy appreciates good food (and the thought that goes into the preparation of that special meal).

1) Let’s start off with breakfast. Have you ever thought of making him something unique…like “heart-shaped” pancakes perhaps? If he’s not into pancakes, how about trimming the corners off his toast to replicate the heart shape? Butter can also be trimmed into a heart shape, and will taste great on those pancakes or toast. Yum…

2) Next comes lunch. Many guys “brown bag” it to work, which provides you with a great opportunity to show that you love him. For an extra surprise, cook or make his favorite snack and add it with his “usual sandwich” for that special note saying: “I love you”.

3) Dinner is the main meal of the day for most people, and a time when you can sit back and relax the most during the day. How about a candlelight dinner with some scented candles? You could play his favorite soothing and romantic music in the background. Be sure to make his favorite meal to compliment the evening.

4) Snacks can be eaten throughout the day, but a romantic snack is very memorable indeed. Did you have a special treat when you started dating? How about a delicious ice cream cone and a walk along the lake? Nobody says that you can’t recreate this experience by “retracing your steps”.

We all need to know that people care about us, and men are no exceptions to the rule. Sure, they may be the “strong, silent type”, but I bet they still get a teary eye when they watch a sad movie. Show that special guy that you love him. Here are a few ways:

1)  A hug says so much. When he least expects it, come up from behind and put your arms around him and give him a nice hug. You can even whisper “I love you” in his ear. Don’t overdo this mind you…just once in a while so that it will be something really special.

2)  Listen to him. One of the most basic needs of all human beings is the need to be heard. When he comes home from a tough day at the office he might want to rave and complain a bit. Just listen to what he has to say, and instead of changing the subject, offer “I’m listening” responses such as “Hmmm”, “I see”, or “Oh my”.

3)  On the other side of the coin, some guys don’t like to talk at all when they arrive home from work. They’ve been battling the traffic, the clients, the boss, and “who knows” during the day, and need time to unwind. They will probably talk your ear off once they do relax, but be sure not to pepper them with questions as soon as they get home, or give him the latest version of your “Honey Do List”. Let him unwind a bit…

4)  Some guys like a good massage, and if you are gifted in this way, this a great way to show that you love him. The human touch is a very powerful thing. Remember to be gentle…there is no need to bring him to tears. You can give him a back rub, or how about just running your fingers through his hair? This is a great way to prepare for the evening meal, or other things…

A lot of guys are very adventurous. They love to try out new things and test their manliness. Here are some things that you can do to show that you love him:

1) One way to show your guy that you love him is to do something that you would not normally do. For example, perhaps you hate football. You have made this no surprise to the guy in your life. Why not put your distain for the sport on hold for one day and join him on the couch watching his favorite team? Instead of rolling your eyes and saying “Why are they so brutal” … ask him what a “first down” means. Guys love to show that they are knowledgeable, and will love to explain to you the finer points of his favorite sport. If he’s not into football, but baseball, or basketball, or hockey, well, I’m sure you can figure out what to ask if you watch the sport for a few minutes…

2) Does your guy have chores? Most guys have something that they need to do around the house on a regular basis. Let’s suppose your guy normally takes the garbage out every week. Why not surprise him by taking it out for him? You could say that you realize he is especially busy this week and thought you would help him out. Be sure to indicate why you have done this…he may think you really enjoy it and you have found you have a new chore around the house.

3) How about a pillow fight? For most of us it brings back memories of our childhood and jumping up and down on the bed. Who says we have to leave this activity once we lose our baby teeth and leave home? When you are lying in bed one night, perhaps watching the television, why not grab your pillow and give him a good wallop? He might be really interested in what he is watching so you had probably better gauge his mood before you do. Who knows? You might have “hit him” at the right time and in the right place, and with his childhood memories reignited, you get yours and good. Let the pillow fight begin!

We all love to be complimented, on our clothes, or our accomplishments or our thoughtfulness. Here are a few great ways to compliment a guy:

1)  Say nice things about your guy when you are out with others. Tell them how special he is, or how hard he works, or how much he cares. Word will eventually get back to that guy of yours, and he will be thrilled that all the good aspects of his character have not gone unnoticed.

2)  Is that guy of yours a fancy dresser? Some are, and some, well “not so much”. If he is a fancy dresser he will appreciate it when other people notice. Take special note of a new piece of clothing, or how he has put it all together, and let him know.

3)  Is there something that he does for you that you really appreciate? Perhaps he does the dishes from time to time? Maybe he takes the baby out for a walk when you need time to unwind? Let him know how much you appreciate the little (and not so little) things that he does for you.

4)  Leave little notes in places that he will find them. Why not put a little note on the steering wheel of his car one evening so he will see it when he drives to work in the morning? It could say something as little as “You Are Loved”. He will get the hint.
